Liechtenstein is a country of 160 km² on the banks of the Rhine in the heart of Europe, between Switzerland and Austria. The official language is German. The principality, made up of eleven municipalities, is a constitutional hereditary monarchy with a parliamentary and democratic basis. The Head of State is Prince Hans-Adam II von und zu Liechtenstein.
